At The Tack Store at Timber Ridge we have a well stocked Consignment Saddle Program with high quality saddles at affordable prices.

All pre-owned saddles that are accepted into our Consignment Saddle Program have been thoroughly inspected to insure that they meet our high standards. Any defects or signs of wear will be described and photographed in the saddle listing.

What is different about our Consignment Saddle Program? Since the Tack Store and our Equestrian Center are at the same location, we have the unique opportunity where you can bring your horse to our farm and you can try on and ride in all available saddles in one place. All incoming horses must have a negative Coggins dated within one year and a flu-rhino vaccine within six months. Documentation must be provided prior to getting an appointment – no exceptions.

Terms of Trial Saddles

All preowned saddles are shipped after the saddles are paid for in full including shipping cost. To initiate a trial, you must first contact us so that payment can be made. Local buyers are welcome to come to the farm and try the saddle(s) in person without purchasing the saddle.

Your five day trial will begin on your delivery date. If you need to extend the trial period by an extra day or two, you must let us know before the original 5 day trial period is over. If you decide to keep the saddle at the end of the 5 day trial, please advise us of your decision in writing and you are the owner of the saddle at that point. Saddles are not returnable for any reason after the five day trial.

If you decide that the saddle does not meet your needs, you may send it back in the same condition as received insuring the saddle for its full value and provide us with the tracking information. You are responsible for return shipping and insurance costs.

If we do not hear from you within the 5 day period, the saddle will be considered sold and the sale will be considered FINAL.
You may also choose to have the saddles shipped at your cost or pick-up the saddles for a trial period.
