This HKM Double Jointed Eggbutt Snaffle Bit has a lozenge and has a Argentan coating. Argentan coating aids in salivation and acceptance of the bit. The center part of the bit looks more gold in color while the rings of the bit are silver.
The traditional eggbutt snaffle tends to have a slight curve to the arm and are designed to give lateral stability, reduce possibility of pinching and encourage forward and downward stretching.
